TRUE GRIT

                Following the murder of her father by hired hand Tom Chaney, 14-year-old  girl Mattie Ross plans to go out to capture the killer. To help her, she hires the toughest U.S. marshal she can find, a man with true grit Cogburn. Mattie insists on accompanying Cogburn, whose drinking, slow, and generally loves to argue with everyone. Against his wishes, she joins him in his journey into the Indian Nations in search of Chaney. They are joined by Texas Ranger LaBoeuf, who wants Chaney for his own purposes. The unlikely three of them find danger and surprises on their journey to find Chaney, and each has his or her grit tested on their journey.

HIDALGO

                Hidalgo is an action adventure and one mans journey of personal redemption. Based on the real life story of Frank T. Hopkins, the legend came to life when one of the greatest riders the American west has ever known is put up against the worlds finest Arabian horses and racers.

                The story of the cowboy Hopkins and his mustang, strangers in a strange land as they become the first American and non-Arabian horse to compete in the toughest endurance race the world has ever known.  Hidalgo is my favorite western movie of all time the desendents of Hidalgo remain in the spanish mustang herd, they belong to the gilbert jones herd on blackjack mountain.  This movie is an amazing movie i found it kepted me on the edge of my seat the whole time it envolves a race through the desert and it is a 3000 mile race.

IM FROM SUSSEX AND I KNOW

    My third choice is im from sussex and i know it because, this short 4 minuite video of 2 boys having a grand old time with their cows on a farm driving around in a tractor dancing in cow crap and doing what they do for a life style, milking cows.  This video is entertaining and at the same time halarious.  It caught my eye when my teacher showed it to our class and we had a good time watching it.  I show cows so i know what it takes to take care of them i do it everyday but they made it look fun and easy if your having a fun time doing it.  for this video they used the sound track from LMFAO's I'm sexy and i know it, they did a very good job and comming up with new lyrics and getting everything done on time and in the right spot that it should be in.  it was interesting how they went from one clip of a video to another and changing the area and scenery every minuite or few seconds.  it kept me very interested and focused on what was hapening in the video and not what was around me.

                                                     

THE TITANTIC

              I have picked the Titantic as my second choise because it is a tale of romance and explains what someone will go through just to save you in this movie jack gives up his life for rose but before this they had just enjoyed a night of running around the boat avoiding roses fiance and his henchmen.  As it sinks, Jack and Rose ride the stern into the ocean. Jack helps Rose onto a wall panel only able to support one person's weight. Holding the panel's edge, he assures her she will die an old woman, warm in her bed. Meanwhile, Fifth Officer Harold Lowe has commandeered a lifeboat to search for survivors.  Rose and the other survivors are taken by the RMS Carpathia to New York, where Rose gives her name as Rose Dawson. She hides from Cal on Carpathia's deck as he searches for her. Her story complete, Rose goes alone to the stern of the ship. There she takes out the Heart of the Ocean, which has been with her all along, and drops it into the ocean. While asleep in her bed, the photos on her dresser are a visual chronicle that she lived a free life inspired by Jack.  Rose is then seen reuniting with Jack at the Grand Staircase of the Titanic, cheered and congratulated by those who died on the ship.  She told the story very well while looking at the sunken ship in the Atlantic, she used plenty of detail to make it as if you were there as everything was beeing told or even put you directly on the ship.

THE HUNGER GAMES

This is my first blog and i chose to write my blog about the hunger games were 24 kids and teenagers fight to survive.  at the begining of the movie you can see katnisse's skills to hunt and defend herself. Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the evil Capitol of the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games. A complicated punishment for a past uprising and an ongoing government intimidation plan, The Hunger Games are a nationally live event in which Tributes must fight with one another until one survivor is left.

 Against highly-trained Tributes who have prepared for these Games their entire lives, Katniss is forced to rely upon her skilled instincts as well as the mentorship of a drunken former Abernathy. If she is ever to return home to District 12, Katniss must make impossible choices in the arena that weighs survival against death.
